CONVENTION HIGHLIGHTS
The Oahu Chapter of HAPA is the host of the 68th Annual State Convention. The convention consists of two days of informative seminars providing (tentatively) 16 hours of CPE, with 12 hours qualifying for IRS purposes, and the opportunity to get together and unwind with other HAPA members in Las Vegas, Nevada.
SEMINARS
Seminars will be held all day on Thursday (6/20/24) and Friday (6/21/24). Technical sessions provide substantive continuing professional education and tentatively qualify for 16 CPE credits for CPAs, and tentatively 12 hours CE for EAs. Seminars, continental breakfast, lunch, refreshments and Friday evening banquet are included with registration fees.
Paperless – There will be no handouts for the technical sessions – going “paperless.” The handouts will be hosted on HAPA’s website at hawaiiassociationofpublicaccountants.com to download.
SOCIAL EVENTS
Group Slot Machine Gala
Thursday, June 20, 2024, 4:45 p.m. (After Thursday’s technical sessions.)
Join the HAPA group with a $20 entry fee. Each entrant can participate, as we try our group luck on a mega-buck machine at the Golden Nugget Casino. Winnings will be split among the registered participants. And … we have won big in the past! So try your luck!!!

Friday evening, June 21, 2024, 6:30 – 10:00 p.m.
Enjoy dinner, door prizes and warm fellowship as we thank our outgoing officers and witness the formal installation of our new officers. Banquet Speaker: Brad Lee, DC, was the owner of Lee Family Chiropractic for 33 years, with a focus on Posture and Spinal Alignment Correction. Recently retired, he now resides in Nevada.
