Hawaii Association of Public Accountants (HAPA) is the premier organization of accounting practitioners in the State of Hawaii. We want to give you the most for your membership dollar. HAPA offers valuable CPE classes, and social events. HAPA members also enjoy group discount rates for various services.

Regular - $150.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: July 1st No automatically recurring payments Any person who is a registered Public Accountant or a Certified Public Accountant, as defined under Chapter 466, Hawaii Revised Statues, as amended, may be admitted as a Regular Member, provided that, effective July 1, 2004, the person also has had at least two years of professional experience in public accountancy practice as defined in Section 466-3, Hawaii Revised Statutes.

Associate - $150.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: July 1st No automatically recurring payments Any person who is a registered Public Accountant or Certified Public Accountant who does not meet the experience requirement of a Regular Member, or any person who is not a Public Accountant or a Certified Public Accountant, who is an employee of a public accounting firm, who is engaged in bookkeeping service, or who is engaged in accounting related activities may be admitted as an Associate Member. An Associate Member may take part in deliberations, vote in elections of officers and directors or in matters pertaining to the Constitution and By-Laws, and have all the privileges extended to a Regular Member, but shall not hold the office of President.

Young Accountant - $75.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: July 1st No automatically recurring payments Any person who is 35 years of age or younger may be admitted as a Young Professional Member.

Student - $15.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: July 1st No automatically recurring payments Any person who attends an institution of higher learning full time shall be eligible for Student Membership. This classification has a non-voting status.

International - $150.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year, on: July 1st No automatically recurring payments Any non-U.S. person who is a permanent resident outside of the United States and who is an employee of a public accounting firm or who is engaged in accounting or tax related activities may be admitted as an international member.
